What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead with Impact: Manage daily operations, supervise and motivate a team of technicians to meet high-quality standards, ensuring timely repairs and top-notch customer service.
• Master the Art of Collision Repair: From structural to non-structural repairs, you’ll handle metalworking, welding, and refinishing to restore vehicles to their pre-collision condition.
• Quality Control: Oversee and inspect repairs to ensure they meet CARSTAR’s exceptional quality, safety, and customer satisfaction standards.
• Mentorship: Share your expertise by mentoring apprentices, providing hands-on training, and helping technicians level up their skills to reach their full potential.
• Efficient Operations: Coordinate workflows, manage schedules, and ensure all repairs are done on time while maintaining the shop’s high efficiency.
• Customer Satisfaction: Address customer concerns, provide updates, and ensure the best possible experience by working closely with customers and your team.
• Inventory & Safety Management: Oversee parts and supplies, ensuring the shop is fully stocked, and enforce safety protocols and OSHA standards to maintain a safe work environment.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies in the collision repair industry, driving innovation in your team and shop operations.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Experience & Expertise: With 5+ years in the auto body industry, you’ve seen it all and have extensive experience in delivering high-quality repairs.
• Leadership & Coaching Skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a team, ensuring technicians follow best practices and maintain a strong work ethic.
• Technical Know-How: Mastery of hand and power tools, diagnostic skills, and the ability to perform all types of repairs—from structural to non-structural.
• Certifications & Education: Red Seal certification and ASE or similar qualifications preferred. A high school diploma (or GED) is required, with post-secondary automotive education a plus.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail make you an excellent troubleshooter, capable of resolving issues quickly and efficiently.
• Safety & Compliance Focused: A strong commitment to safety, following OSHA protocols and maintaining a clean, organized shop environment.
• Physical Strength: You’re ready to lift, bend, and work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Pay: $38.00-$42.00 per hour
