Our client located in Guelph is a well-established mid-size Public Accounting firm looking to hire a Senior Manager - Learning & Development. Professional Standards. This accounting firm has a great reputation in the industry with many long-term employees. Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with Senior Management to design, develop and implement high quality learning and development programs and resources.
  • Conduct new hire and current staff training sessions.
  • Work closely with junior staff on some audits and compilation engagements.
  • Assess the effectiveness of training programs and utilize feedback to make continuous improvements.
  • Stay up to date with current changes in accounting and auditing standards based on CPA Ontario requirements.

Requirements:
  • You MUST have your CPA designation.
  • 5+ years accounting experience, ideally in public accounting setting with a focus on compliance and financial reporting.
  • Must have proven experience in designing and delivering engaging and effective training.
  • Ability to take initiative for own learning and development.
  • Passion to lead and train a team.
