Job Description:
As a Sustainability-focused Server and Pizza Maker at The Mash, you'll be an integral part of our mission to provide guests with memorable dining experiences. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about food, sustainability, and customer service to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Serving:
Greet and seat guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
Present the menu, make recommendations, and take customer orders accurately.
Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently.
Address customer inquiries and special requests with attention to detail.
2. Pizza Making:
Prepare and assemble pizza ingredients to create unique, high-quality pizzas.
Operate pizza ovens, ensuring pizzas are cooked to perfection.
Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the pizza preparation area.
Consistently follow our recipes and procedures to deliver delicious, sustainable pizzas.
3. Sustainability Focus:
Educate customers about The Mash's sustainability initiatives and our use of spent grain in pizza crusts.
Assist in waste reduction and recycling efforts within the restaurant.
Support sustainability practices, such as energy conservation and resource management.
4. Customer Experience:
Create a friendly and engaging atmosphere for guests.
Ensure excellent service, answer questions, and address concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
Promote The Mash's commitment to sustainability and the unique dining experience we offer.
5. Teamwork:
Collaborate with colleagues in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred but not required.
