Midland Transport is currently seeking a Freight Handler based out of the Saint John Terminal, NB. The selected candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and "Can Do" attitude.

Shift: Monday to Friday (3PM-11PM)

Responsibilities:

• Dock setup
• Scanning process and paperwork (BOLs)
• Loading and unloading freight
• Communicate with other Dock Workers to ensure safe loading and unloading
• Keeping the dock and work area clean and fully functioning
• Flexible to assist in other areas when volumes are low

Qualifications:

• Education Required: Minimum High School Diploma
• Years of Experience Required: < 2 years; previous experience in a warehouse and/or shipping environment
• Committed to working safely in a fast-paced environment
• Capable of working positively with others toward common goals
• Able to read and write clearly to complete paperwork
• Efficient and hard-working
• Basic math skills and Organizational skills
