As a Client Care Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that corporate client requests are addressed in a timely manner in accordance with client expectations. This is done by either acting as a liaison between the client and operational teams or coordinating the various services that may be necessary to meet client needs. Responsibilities include working closely with Account Managers, other departments, as well as providers, to gather and provide information to address client requests. This position involves handling requests from our diverse portfolio of international corporate clients.

What does your typical day look like?

  1. Ensure client requests are handled effectively, efficiently, and that activities are coordinated with operational teams, providers, suppliers, or other various sources as required to meet the client’s needs;
  2. Develop strong working relationships with operational teams and Account Management while sharing feedback, knowledge, or opportunities when applicable;
  3. Oversee claims activities and resolution while providing expected level of Customer Experience;
  4. Provide relevant and timely updates both internally and externally;
  5. Provide quality of service as related to role specific activities;
  6. Escalation of complex cases, process breakdowns, client complaints, or efficiency enhancement opportunities.

What skills and experience are we looking for?

  1. Work on a full-time position Monday through Friday between 7am and 11pm with possibility of working on weekends based on business needs;
  2. Post-Secondary Education or equivalent;
  3. Experience in customer service;
  4. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. English will be used in particular to take calls from customers mainly from outside Quebec;
  5. Additional verbal and written communication in French, Spanish, or German would be considered an asset;
  6. Knowledge of healthcare services and medical billing practices is considered an asset;
  7. Comfort with Microsoft suite of products and adaptable to different tools and technologies;
  8. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently, organize work, set priorities, make important decisions and multitask.
