We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately processing and managing a variety of documents and data. Your primary duties will include:
Main Duties:
Receive, log, and register invoices, forms, records, and other documents from clients for data entry purposes.
Input data into computerized databases, spreadsheets, and other templates using various tools, including keyboards, mice, optical scanners, and speech recognition software.
Import and export data between different software applications to ensure seamless data integration.
Verify the accuracy and completeness of all entered data to maintain data integrity.
Identify, label, and organize electronic storage media to facilitate easy retrieval of information.
Maintain organized libraries of electronic storage media for efficient data management.
Occasionally interact with clients via email, in person, or other means of communication to receive files, answer queries, provide clarifications, and receive feedback.
Qualifications:
Completion of secondary school is required.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Accounting, or a related field; coursework in data entry is preferred.
1-2 years of experience in data entry, administrative, office assistant roles, with a preference for candidates who have experience in payroll and financial reporting.
Proficient in computer applications, including spreadsheets and databases, with strong skills in Microsoft Office and a quick learner of software, particularly Sage 50.
Preferably has Sage 50 software experience
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Has customer service experience for more than 1 year.
Available to work weekends or holidays as needed for the role.
