Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately processing and managing a variety of documents and data. Your primary duties will include:

Main Duties:

  • Receive, log, and register invoices, forms, records, and other documents from clients for data entry purposes.
  • Input data into computerized databases, spreadsheets, and other templates using various tools, including keyboards, mice, optical scanners, and speech recognition software.
  • Import and export data between different software applications to ensure seamless data integration.
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of all entered data to maintain data integrity.
  • Identify, label, and organize electronic storage media to facilitate easy retrieval of information.
  • Maintain organized libraries of electronic storage media for efficient data management.
  • Occasionally interact with clients via email, in person, or other means of communication to receive files, answer queries, provide clarifications, and receive feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of secondary school is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Accounting, or a related field; coursework in data entry is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in data entry, administrative, office assistant roles, with a preference for candidates who have experience in payroll and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including spreadsheets and databases, with strong skills in Microsoft Office and a quick learner of software, particularly Sage 50.
  • Preferably has Sage 50 software experience
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Has customer service experience for more than 1 year.
  • Available to work weekends or holidays as needed for the role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.26-$26.98 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week

Additional pay:

  • Overtime pay

  • Bachelor's Degree (required)
