Job description

The Position: 1 OPENING!

Description: Commercial Cleaner
Shift: 3 nights per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) - 18 hours/week
Compensation: $17.20/hour.

YOU MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE AND YOUR OWN VEHICLE.

Key Responsibilities:

Completing all cleaning to standards set out in the Reference List and Staff Binders.
Preparing all cleaning kits, chemicals, and equipment every day for proper use.
Double-checking all cleaning is up to standards at assigned locations.
Understanding and following daily schedules.
Being aware of the cleaning needs of each location by following the spec sheets provided.
Taking an active effort in positive client communications when possible.

The job involves but is not limited to:

Dusting and cleaning surface areas and counter surfaces.
Performing general sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping of hardwood/laminate or tiled floors.
Using vacuum equipment; vacuuming and cleaning carpets, performing further treatments such as shampoo or stain removal.
Disposing of trash from bins and containers.
Cleaning sinks, basins, toilets, and showers in private and public bathrooms.
Cleaning windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors.
Maintaining upkeep of all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products.
Restocking restroom supplies.
Ensuring safe and sanitary storage and care of products.

Qualifications and Skills:

Having previous cleaning experience is preferred.
Ability to follow verbal and written directions.
Training will be provided; however, experience is preferred.
Ability to work independently.
Reliable and punctual with dedicated professionalism to job and duties.
Able to adapt to changing schedules or routines.
Excellent time management skills.
Attention to detail.
Organized and able to follow a schedule.
Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during the daily routine, with the ability to stand for long lengths of time; physically able to push a vacuum cleaner for extended periods.
General knowledge of cleaning supplies and techniques for cleaning.
Able to work nights and possibly some weekends if requested.
