Janitor/Cleaner (Part time)

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join our team at various locations throughout Sidney. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order within our facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all employees and visitors. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, and surfaces throughout the facility.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as required.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment used in commercial cleaning.
• Ability to maintain facilities in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning and maintenance.
• Good organizational skills to manage time effectively while completing tasks.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Previous experience in facilities maintenance or commercial cleaning is a plus but not required.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 per week

• janitorial: 1 year (preferred)
