Job Description
Wirehead, a leading partner for TA Talent Acquisition, is investing in several new Business Development Managers for servicing one of our practice sectors: Banking/Financial Services/Insurance, Technology/Media/Telecom, Public Sector/Government, Healthcare or Professional Services.
What you get to do:
- Identify, qualify and close sales pursuits within targeted accounts.
- Understand client’s business strategy and the related I&IT strategy and translate it to business solutions.
- Own the sales management process from opportunity identification to contract closing, including: RFx responses, sales presentations, and contracting.
- Develop and maintain strong relations with our alliance partners.
- Enhance business relationships with existing clients to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Develop compelling/winning proposals and lead expansion into new business, including completing financial analysis, cost/benefit ROI & TCO assessments, and pricing methodologies.
- Lead responses to RFS’s, RFQ’s, RFP’s, RFI’s, and informal proposal/quotation processes.
- Develop account plans and sales strategies that will ensure sustainable business growth.
- Engage in relationship building and networking activities to develop additional sales opportunities.
- Leverage your industry knowledge, experience, and thought leadership to envision how technology can transform our customer’s business to drive higher levels of customer experience and engagement.
- Serve as an expert business consultant in one of the following sectors: Banking/Financial Services/Insurance, Technology/Media/Telecom, Public Sector/Government/Defense, or Healthcare/Life Sciences.
- Establish and cultivate strong relationships with your client at senior levels as well as external and internal partners to maximize growth within an account.
What you need to bring:
- 3 - 5 + years of sales/recruiting experience in an agency environment or similar experience in sales.
- Knowledge of full lifecycle recruiting.
- Experience with Government procurement methods and supply arrangements.
- Experience with the proposal process, RFS-RFP bid preparation, familiarity with IT professional staffing pricing and quality assurance on bid responses.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills and consultative selling success.
- Demonstrated ability to function/recruit on a national, multi-location level.
- Strong problem-solving and creative thinking capabilities.
- Experience with Salesforce, Workday, Bullhorn, or other CRM/ATS Systems.
- Proficiency using Google Workspace mail, calendaring, and shared drives.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills.
- Able to communicate with and prospect to all levels of management including C-Level, VP’s, Senior Managers, and Technology staff.
- Meet sales KPI’s and EBITDA targets.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree is advantageous.
- Bilingualism (French and English) would be considered an asset.

Salary Range: CAD $60,000.00 – CAD $75,000.00 /Yr. Plus commissions/discretionary bonuses.
