Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Contract Representative to join our team! In this role you will get to focus on assisting with contract preparation, administration, and ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Assists in the preparation, review, and negotiation of contracts, ensuring all terms, conditions, and deliverables are clearly defined and aligned with company objectives.
  2. Coordinates with internal teams, clients, and vendors to ensure smooth contract execution and adherence to the agreed-upon terms.
  3. Monitors contract performance, ensuring all parties fulfill their obligations and deadlines are met.
  4. Assists in addressing any contract-related issues, such as disputes or discrepancies, and works with legal and project teams to resolve them promptly.
  5. Maintains accurate records of contract documentation, including amendments, renewals, and other changes.
  6. Tracks and reports on contract milestones, deliverables, and progress to internal teams and senior management.
  7. Ensures compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards during the contract lifecycle.
  8. Reviews invoices, change orders, and other contract-related documents to ensure they align with contractual terms and conditions.
  9. Assists in contract close-out procedures, ensuring all final documentation and approvals are completed.
  10. Provides guidance and support to project teams and stakeholders regarding contract terms and requirements.
  11. Performs other duties related to contract management as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field
  2. Minimum 2-4 years of experience in contract management, administration, or related roles
  3. Knowledge of contract law, procurement, and contract management processes

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

  1. Strong understanding of contract terms and conditions
  2. Excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skills
  3. Ability to manage multiple contracts and meet deadlines
  4. Attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing contract documentation
  5. Proficiency in contract management software and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, SAP, Primavera)
