In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)
EDUCATION:
- Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in physics, geology, chemistry or some other science relevant to the position.
Degree equivalency
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE (for PC-02 and PC-03 positions):
- Experience using modern computer programming or scripting languages for data processing, analysis and management.
PC-03 POSITIONS ONLY:
- Approximately one year work experience in one of the physical sciences or geomatics fields.
- Experience in writing reports or publications.

Various language requirements
- For Supervisory positions: Bilingual – Imperative or Non-Imperative (CBC/CBC).
- An imperative appointment process means that a person must meet the language requirements at the time of appointment.
- A non-imperative appointment means that the position can be staffed by a person who agrees to become bilingual through language training at government expense within the 2-year exemption period.

- Willingness and ability to travel nationally and/or internationally by air, land or by sea.
Conditions of employment
Reliability Status security clearance.
