Job Summary

We are seeking a Customer Insights & Analytics Manager to lead data-driven initiatives that enhance customer understanding and business performance. This role is responsible for developing analytics frameworks, building dashboards, and driving customer segmentation strategies across digital and in-store channels. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical background, expertise in customer data platforms (CDPs), and a proven ability to translate insights into actionable strategies that fuel engagement, retention, and revenue growth.

Working cross-functionally with Ecommerce, Marketing, CRM, and Merchandising teams, this individual will be instrumental in optimizing customer experiences through customized reporting, cross-channel insights, and predictive analytics.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Insights & Data Strategy

  • Develop and execute a customer analytics strategy to optimize engagement, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Leverage data to uncover insights on customer behavior, shopping patterns, and lifetime value (LTV).
  • Establish and refine customer segmentation models to drive personalized marketing and product recommendations.
  • Utilize predictive analytics to forecast trends, identify high-value customers, and inform strategic decision-making.

Dashboard & Reporting Development

  • Design and build interactive dashboards to provide real-time insights into customer performance, campaign effectiveness, and revenue impact.
  • Develop standardized and ad-hoc reporting for stakeholders across Marketing, Ecommerce, and Retail teams.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity, troubleshooting discrepancies across different reporting systems.
  • Partner with IT and data teams to enhance reporting infrastructure and integration of analytics tools.

Cross-Channel & Personalization Strategy

  • Optimize the customer journey across multiple channels (Ecommerce, Email, SMS, Paid Media, Retail) by integrating insights into campaigns.
  • Implement customer personalization strategies, leveraging data to tailor experiences across digital touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with CRM and Marketing teams to enhance loyalty programs and lifecycle marketing initiatives.
  • Work closely with Merchandising and Product teams to align data-driven product recommendations with consumer demand.

Performance Analysis & Optimization

  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (conversion rates, retention rates, AOV, ROAS, churn).
  • Conduct A/B and multivariate testing to optimize campaigns, promotions, and product assortments.
  • Present insights and recommendations to leadership to drive data-informed business decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, tools, and best practices in customer analytics and data science.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in customer analytics, data science, or business intelligence, preferably in retail or ecommerce.
  • Strong experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Google Looker Studio) and CRM platforms (Klaviyo is preferred)
  • Deep understanding of customer segmentation, personalization, and omnichannel analytics.
  • Experience in building and optimizing dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong knowledge of Google Analytics, Shopify analytics, and attribution modeling.
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear, actionable manner to non-technical teams.
  • A results-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, or R for data analysis and querying is an asset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Marketing Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
