Job Description

We currently have an opening for a Warehouse Manager based in Hope, BC.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  1. Reflects BTB’s Leadership Framework in conducting daily business role and activities.
  2. Ownership of the handling, storage and distribution of BlueTriton Brands bottled water products to the end consumer.
  3. Oversees the warehouse operations; including the safety, quality, continuous improvement, P&L, budgeting, hiring, inventory control, and fleet operations within those functional areas.
  4. Lead the execution of cultural changes and activities needed to support BlueTriton Brands key objectives.
  5. Convey a deep emphasis on employee engagement through shift hand off practices and shift start-up communications.
  6. Strong execution and focus on safety is required.
  7. Coach and develop leaders and team members to successful results, including identifying training and development needs.
  8. Determine staffing needs to meet workload requirements and manage day to day budget and forecasts.
  9. Effectively manage warehouse utilization and resolve exceptions to daily operation.
  10. Maintain contingency plans for time sensitive operations (unscheduled absentees, customer service issues, systems malfunctions, inventory exceptions, transport equipment issues).
  11. Develop strong partnerships with plant management, planning, transportation, quality and inventory control.
  12. Collaborate with peers across the company to share best practices and maintain compliance.
  13. Develop, Maintain, and confirm process are run in accordance with SOPs and other documentation and best practices.
  14. Ensure quality service to consumers by exceeding customer shipping requirements within the established time frame, and by communicating to internal contacts any issues that may impact customers.

Qualifications

  1. High School diploma or equivalent required.
  2. Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
  3. 5+ years of supply chain experience, including warehouse and inventory experience with at least 2 years leading a team.
  4. Prior experience in consumer products, food and beverage specifically, preferred.
  5. Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and business management software (SAP preferred) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  6. Proven leadership skills, coaching and developing leaders & employees.
  7. Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement such as and manage to/achieve metrics. Experience with the development and execution of TPM, LEAN, and Six Sigma principals preferred.
  8. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with frontline employees, peers, and executives.
  9. Ability to drive positive change in both processes and systems and culture.
  10. Strong internal and external customer focus with great follow-up.
  11. Ability to provide after-hours support to a 24 X 7 operation for critical issues.

Pay Range: $102,678 - $125,000. This role is eligible for a 15% annual bonus.
