We are seeking a Senior Environmental Consultant to join us in a senior role to take responsibility for the management of our environmental work and environmental team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to make their mark in the sector, with endless possibilities. We are committed to expanding in this area and would rely on this person to both input into our strategy and implement it for future growth.

Job Description:

Egis Ireland are looking to recruit a Senior Level Environmental Engineer for large scale Civil Infrastructure projects in Ireland.

Profile:

1. A 3rd level Degree in Environmental Science or Civil Engineering Degree plus a minimum of 10+ years experience on large scale Infrastructure projects including Rail, Roads, Active Travel and Water.
2. CENV: Chartered Environmentalist would be a distinct advantage.
3. Strong experience in Ireland regarding Planning and Court Systems.
4. Strong management experience managing teams including Ecologists, Noise Specialists, Landscaping and Project Managers.
5. Strong reporting including:
1. EIA: Environmental Impact Assessment reports
2. NIS: Natural Impact Statement reports
3. AA: Appropriate Assessment reports
4. Risk Management reporting to senior management team.

Location: Ireland / Hybrid-Remote working options within our office locations in Dublin | Cork | Castlebar

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience + excellent benefits package.
