Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces for painting including cleaning, sanding, and priming
  • Apply paint, varnishes, and other coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
  • Mix and match colors to ensure uniformity and quality of finish
  • Inspect painted surfaces for defects and touch up as necessary
  • Maintain painting equipment and tools in good working condition
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
  • Maintain accurate records of paint usage and inventory levels

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a painter in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials
