Job Title: Aerospace Machinist

Location: Mississauga, ON

Standard shift: 7:15 AM – 3:45 PM (5-day workweek).

Must be flexible to switch to an afternoon shift (3:45 PM – 12:15 AM, 4-day workweek) based on business requirements.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with a strong background in precision machining to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with both mill and lathe operations, including 5-axis CNC machining. This role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of interpreting blueprints, setting up equipment, and performing high-precision machining tasks. Candidates must have a minimum of five years of work experience in Canada and be eligible to work in Canada. Must be eligible for Controlled Goods & Contract Security clearance.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Set up and operate CNC Mills & Lathes (both required)
  • Work with 5-Axis CNC machines (mandatory)
  • Independently manage setups, tool offsets, and program adjustments
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering drawings
  • Work with Fanuc and Siemens controllers (preferred)
  • Perform quality control checks using precision measuring instruments
  • Troubleshoot and optimize machining processes

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3–5 years of machining experience (Aerospace preferred)
  • Experience handling multiple machine setups per shift
  • Ability to work independently on night/afternoon shifts when needed
  • Background in tool selection, fixture setup, and offsets
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
  • Completion of a 4-year apprenticeship OR equivalent experience (Trade Certification preferred but not required)
  • Must be eligible for Controlled Goods & Contract Security clearance.
