Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Information Security Risk Assessment Analyst to join our team in Montreal. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for assessing and enhancing our organization’s security posture. You will collaborate with system owners and vendors to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Information Gathering: Engage with system owners and vendors to collect relevant background information on assigned systems/applications. Schedule and conduct interviews to gather comprehensive data.
2. Documentation Review: Review system-related materials, such as specifications, diagrams, requirements, and test plans, to ensure compliance with security standards.
3. Results Review: Work closely with system owners, vendors, and Senior Security Architecture Analysts to review assessment results and provide feedback as needed.
4. Security Assessments: Carry out detailed security assessments using available documentation to evaluate the security posture of various systems.
5. Reporting: Produce thorough security architecture assessment reports that clearly identify vulnerabilities and recommend effective remediation strategies.
6. Standards Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of global security standards and processes to strengthen our security measures.
7. Technology Evaluation: Assess new security technologies and practices to proactively address potential threats and enhance security initiatives.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience in information security, risk assessment, or related fields.
