Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Dockmaster at Gordon Yacht Harbour Marina, located in Bobcaygeon, ON. The Dockmaster will be responsible for overseeing marina operations, including supervising dock staff, managing mooring and docking assignments, and ensuring the safety and security of the marina. Daily tasks include coordinating with boat owners and tenants, providing customer service, maintaining facility cleanliness, and conducting routine inspections. The Dockmaster will also handle conflict resolution, enforce marina rules, and liaise with marine industry professionals.

Qualifications

• Supervisory Skills and ability to lead a team effectively
• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
• Knowledge of Boats and the Marine Industry
• Problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Physical capability to perform manual tasks and inspections
• Experience in marina or harbor management is a plus
• Boating certification and safety training are desirable
