As part of the management team, you have the opportunity as a financial leader to impact our dynamic and growing organization. Reporting to the Regional Vice President, the North American Director of Finance is responsible for delivering business results through the development and execution of the business strategy in the areas of budget and accounting, financial management, treasury and investments, and knowledge management. This involves establishing and implementing financial strategies, policies and procedures, budgets, and maintaining financial business responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will have proven strong financial expertise and a business acumen to collaborate and contribute to the continued growth and success.
This position will provide for further leadership opportunities in addition to core roles and responsibilities of Finance Management. As part of a small management team, you will be expected to help direct the company in various facets including client negotiations, business development, creating partnerships, and identifying acquisitions.
You hold a professional designation as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), post-secondary education in finance or accounting combined with senior financial leadership experience. A core competency in Finance is required, but driven management and leadership qualities are highly valued. This is a senior position but could be suitable for a driven and ambitious mid-career individual.
The position is based in St. John’s, NL but may require occasional travel throughout Canada, the USA, and potentially Europe.
