In-home Caregiver – Private Home – RaSi… Family

NOC Job Code/Title: 44100 - Home Child Care Provider

Terms of Employment: This job is for a full-time position (between 32 and 40 hours per week). Flexible / Split shift work schedule is required. Weekend work may be required. Job start is September 1, 2025.

Language Requirement: French or English.

Salary: Wage offered is between $15.75 and $17 per hour. Future wage adjustments will be made when the provincial minimum wage rate changes.

Location: RaSi… lives in Westmount, Quebec. The home is situated in a residential neighbourhood, with schools and parks nearby. The city bus and metro are easily accessible (bus # 161, # 104 or # 138). The major intersection is Fleet Rd and Cavendish Blvd.

Duties may include:

1. Helping with the care of 2 children; a 4-year-old and a 2-year-old.
2. Supervision of children when parents are not at home, and taking the children to and from appointments.
3. Organizing and participating in activities such as games, crafts, reading, and outings to provide amusement and exercise.
4. Disciplining children according to the methods requested by the parents.
5. Bathing and dressing the children until they are old enough to do these tasks unassisted.
6. Laying the youngest child down for nap time.
7. General housework that includes doing laundry and some ironing.
8. Dusting rooms to ensure a clean environment.

Qualifications:

1. Must have completed at minimum the Canadian equivalent of secondary school education.
2. Must have at least one year of work-related experience as a caregiver.
3. Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, and able to manage the job without supervision.
