Production supervisor - evening shift

I am currently recruiting a Grain Center Coordinator for one of my clients, an agricultural company in the Montérégie region.

Permanent position - in presence

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

1. Ensure the application of and compliance with the company's HACCP/BRC, sanitation and occupational health and safety standards by its employees
2. Work closely with the Production Planner and Production Manager to meet customer order specifications and deliveries
3. Assume responsibility for the development and implementation of the production plan while maintaining effective policies and procedures
4. Train, empower and supervise your team of unionized employees
5. Monitor the performance of your team
6. Demonstrate leadership and maintain a healthy team atmosphere
7. Be proactive in identifying problems and implementing solutions
8. Oversee and enforce all aspects of OHS
9. Other related duties

Your profile:

• High school diploma (DES) or Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC)
• Have 3 - 5 years' experience in a similar position in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in managing unionized personnel
• Knowledge of HACCP/BRC standards (asset)
• Spoken and written French, English (an asset)
• Good command of IT tools (MS Office; e-mail, EXCEL)
• Sense of organization and priority management
• Results-oriented

Salary: 60k to 70k + 5% annual bonus
Schedule: Sunday to Thursday (3pm to 11pm)
Group insurance 50% paid
