We specialize in meeting the HVAC equipment needs of building owners, mechanical contractors, engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) firms. Whether it's for industrial, commercial, or institutional applications, our extensive HVAC knowledge and technical expertise drive our commitment to excellence.

Role Overview: The Project Manager (PM) role at Olympic International plays a pivotal part in ensuring the successful execution of projects. The Project Manager also contributes to maintaining strong relationships with contractors and improving project processes, which in turn enhances the company’s reputation and success in the industry. The ability to coordinate effectively and maintain strong attention to detail is key to ensuring smooth project execution, on-time delivery, and exceeding customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications, terms, and budget.
  2. Plan, monitor, and track progress based on established schedules and milestones, allocate resources responsibly, and coordinate activities with all involved parties.
  3. Build strong, trust-based relationships with clients and subcontractors to foster collaboration among stakeholders.
  4. Apply critical thinking skills to address challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle, including monitoring deliverables and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
  5. Efficiently plan and oversee meetings.

  7. Implement rigorous document version control practices to keep information organized, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
  8. Ensure the prompt completion and review of shop drawings, including crucial technical details.
  9. Manage financial resources responsibly, transparently, and accurately, including handling proper commission splits, addressing overdue accounts, and ensuring project closure.
  10. Convert jobs to projects in Business Central and use technical tools and software programs in day-to-day operations.
  11. Visit sites during various stages of the project lifecycle to ensure correct installation, proper equipment application, and to prevent or address on-site issues.
  12. Establish work priorities, ensuring procedures are followed, conducting administrative activities, and maintaining ethical standards.
  13. Assist with the preparation of bid packages, quotations, and tender proposals.
  14. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

  1. Proven experience (3-5 years) in a Project Manager, Project Coordinator, or related role.
  2. A degree or diploma in Engineering, Project Management or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  3. Demonstrated success in managing and overseeing projects of various scales from start to finish with a focus on budget management, productivity, and meeting stakeholder deadlines.
  4. Strong knowledge of project planning methodologies and tools.
  5. Knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Business Central, and Microsoft Dynamics Sales).
  6. Experience in budgeting and fiscal management, including knowledge of cost estimation and tracking.
