Full-Stack Web Developer (Remote)

WWW is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full-Stack Web Developer to join our technical team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and websites for our clients. The candidate will collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers to ensure the timely delivery of projects. The candidate will write clean, maintainable, and efficient codes. The candidate will troubleshoot and debug any issues that may arise and stay up to date with the latest web development technologies and trends.

Selected candidates will have the opportunity to:

• Work with industry professionals at Walk With Web Inc. and collaborate with world-class scholars through our international academic network.
• Learn how to design and implement digital databases with exclusive training on our content management services, which currently support +20 digital humanities projects.
• Enhance your existing knowledge with training in user testing and effective methods of user-centered design processes.
• Augment your knowledge with positive feedback from senior developers and designers.
• Practically learn how to anticipate technical problems and find and implement suitable and feasible solutions.
• Learn industry standards of compliance in web development, including creating technical documentation and implementing best programming practices.
• Conceptualise creative ideas with our clients and create interactive prototypes/wireframes and logos for web interfaces.
• Gain experience in developing responsive web interfaces, code optimization, search engine optimization, creating sitemaps, and user/process flows following standards, guidelines, and best practices.
• Participate in creating a one-of-a-kind website that will benefit researchers, students, and the general public.

Eligibility & Requirements

All Applicants must have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in web development.
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as BootStrap, React, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Experience with back-end languages such as PHP.
• Experience with database management, such as MySQL.
• Experience with version control systems such as Github, MAMP/WAMP, and Operating systems: Linux, Windows, iOS
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
