Description:
Our client is seeking a Solution Architect to work on a major transformation project.

Responsibilities:

• Technical Decision Records capturing significant technology choices, the viable options and the reasons for the chosen approach.
• Verbal, text and diagram-based communication of technology decisions, tailored to technical and non-technical audiences as appropriate.
• Data migration and architecture evolution plans showing how teams will deliver in the short term and work toward a long-term strategic architecture.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Proposed candidates must demonstrate a hands-on approach to technology and architecture, with appropriate experience delivering modern software applications.
• Proposed candidates must demonstrate ownership of an architecture end to end from inception through to production operation.
• Proposed candidates must demonstrate the ability to break down a strategic architecture into a series of steps aligned to a delivery plan.
• Proposed candidates must demonstrate how they have used user needs as the driver for technology decisions and avoided making technical choices in isolation.
• Experience delivering digital services for government departments.
