Responsibilities

1. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs across multiple properties.
2. Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, potential improvements, and preventative maintenance tasks.
3. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from Management team, and prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance.
4. Coordinate and oversee maintenance and repair projects, including managing external contractors when necessary.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to appliances, fixtures, equipment, and systems within properties.
6. Perform seasonal tasks such as snow removal, landscaping, and exterior maintenance to ensure properties are well-presented and safe.
7. Keep accurate records of maintenance performed, materials used, and expenses incurred.
8. Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies, equipment, and restocking when necessary.
9. Maintain a strong focus on safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.

Requirements

1. Previous experience in maintenance positions considered an asset.
2. Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.
3. Strong leadership capabilities, including an ability to both take and give direction, work calmly under pressure, and delegate tasks.
4. Ability to work with minimal supervision and be reliable.
5. Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
6. Familiarity with maintenance tools, equipment, and materials.
7. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
8. Flexibility to respond to emergency maintenance situations outside of regular working hours.
