Expéditeur/réceptionnaire/technicien du centre de réparation

AW Chesterton, a leading international manufacturer of industrial fluid sealing systems, high-performance protective coatings, and specialty industrial maintenance products, is seeking a Shipper/Receiver/Repair Center Technician for its Montreal center.

As a Shipper/Receiver/Repair Center Technician, you will work under the supervision of our Eastern Canada Service Center Manager.

Your responsibilities include:

1. Performing various shipping and receiving activities and maintaining inventory using D365.
2. Set up and operate simple machinery, such as sandblasters and polishing tools.
3. Use a variety of hand and power tools, such as a drill press.
4. Perform simple in-process quality control tasks according to established engineering standards.
5. Operate a CNC for gasket cutting. (Training provided)
6. Perform simple production tasks, cutting packing braids, and assembling kits.
7. May perform tasks under instructions, if required.
8. Perform other tasks on the fabrication floor, such as assembling pallets and wooden crates.
9. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

Experience required for this position:

1. One to two years of warehouse or shipping/receiving experience is preferred.
2. Ability to work under general supervision and independently, as required.
3. Ability to follow detailed written and/or verbal instructions and procedures to ensure workplace safety and efficient inventory management.
4. Ability to lift 75 lbs, as required by the position.
5. Ability to operate and maintain a forklift, as required.
6. Fluency in spoken and written French.
7. Fluency in spoken and written English.
