Responsibilities

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

1. Taking digital radiographs
2. Charting of existing conditions and proposed treatment
3. Periodontal charting
4. Routine prophylaxis
5. Fluoride application
6. Placing sealants
7. Soft tissue management
8. Scaling and root planning
9. Presenting proposed treatment with insurance coverage and patient co-pays
10. Keeping accurate notes

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Dental Hygienist and BLS/CPR certification
• Experience taking digital x-rays and intraoral photos
• Knowledgeable of ADA codes
• Maintains annual OSHA, HIPAA, BLS, and infection control training as required by law
