Warehouse Worker - Order Picker

We are looking for Warehouse workers - Order Pickers to join a well-known company for a long term role.

Have you previously worked in a Warehouse environment? Do you have experience in Order Picking? Can you handle the physicality of a heavy labour position? Do you enjoy a fast-paced environment?

You would be responsible for Order Picking products and preparing for shipment on the evening shift in the East End of Ottawa.

Forklift experience is a definite asset!

Advantages:

Responsibilities:

1. Loading and unloading materials from the trucks.
2. Checking inventory and storing items in their proper place.
3. Moving material from the receiving or shipping area to their proper storage areas.
4. Coordinating with the warehouse supervisor on what needs to be urgently done.
5. Keeping all stocks organized.
6. Ensuring that all items are stored in the proper location.
7. Operating Forklift and pallet jacks.

Qualifications:

1. Must have experience working in a warehouse.
2. Shipping and Receiving experience is a must.
3. Must be comfortable doing physical labour - lifting heavy weight, bending, and walking and standing for long periods.
4. Forklift / Lift Experience is an asset.
