NorQuesters are difference makers and we’re searching for someone dedicated to making a difference to join our Research and Academic Innovation team as a Curriculum Developer. The successful candidate will embody our intentional values of being dependable, boldly curious, and intentionally courageous, while being passionate about quality curriculum design and skilled with agile processes.
Reporting to the Unity Higher Ed XR grant Project Lead, this position would be responsible for reviewing the existing curriculum for Unity Technologies, Essentials and Jr. Programmer pathways, and creating a sample of the changes that would be seen upon application of a neuroinclusion framework created by NorQuest College.
This framework and sample would apply a universal design and then be used to create additional resources including a curriculum map, as well as teacher resources and tips for teaching this curriculum to a class of neurodiverse individuals. In turn, these resources would then be shared and reviewed by an established advisory committee and any feedback would be reviewed and incorporated if required. The Curriculum developer will have considerable latitude in determining how best to achieve these results.
