Under the direction of the Restorative Care Coordinator, the Restorative Care Aide will be responsible and accountable for the delivery of restorative care services.

The Following Traits And Qualifications Are Required

• Successful completion of training program in restorative care, or are enrolled in such a program;
• Have successfully completed a relevant training course provided by the licensee that is designed and supervised by a qualified therapist who is a member of the appropriate college of a regulated health professional as required under the Fixing Long Term Care Act, 2021, ss. 79 and Ontario Regulation 67/22 (2).
• Must demonstrate an active interest in ongoing education.
• Must be flexible, innovative and creative.
• Minimum of two years experience in geriatric rehabilitation or Long Term Care (Gerontology) preferred.
• Must be computer literate.
