Located in Niagara Falls, within 1.8 km of Skylon Tower and 1.8 km of Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort, The Highlander Inn provides accommodation with a garden and free WiFi throughout the property as well as free private parking for guests who drive. At the inn, every room comes with air conditioning, a desk, a terrace with a city view, a private bathroom, a flat-screen TV, bed linen and towels. All units provide guests with a fridge.

The Highlander Inn is currently looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor. This individual would report to the Operations Manager, and shall be responsible for organizing employee shifts, training and motivating team members and checking private and public areas for tidiness. The successful candidate will ensure that our facility is clean and well maintained, and that all guests receive the highest quality of service.

What will I be doing?

Specifically, the right candidate will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards :

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of light duty, industrial or specialized cleaners and janitors
  • Inspect sites or facilities to ensure established safety and cleanliness standards are met
  • Recommend or arrange for additional services required such as painting, repair work, renovations or replacement of furnishings and equipment
  • Hire and train cleaning staff
  • Prepare budget, estimate costs and keep financial records
  • May perform certain cleaning duties

This provides a general overview of the role; however, actual duties and responsibilities will vary depending on business needs.
