Position Summary

TriQuest NDT is a wholly owned subsidiary of Rockwood Service Corporation and provides full service non-destructive testing, inspection, and integrity services throughout North America to the Oil & Gas industry, Manufacturing, Fabrication, Power Generation, In-Service Piping, and Above Ground Storage Tanks.

We are currently seeking temporary short-term project based CGSB MT/PT/UT Technicians to support our project turnaround operations near Fort McMurray.

This position is for a turnaround project estimated for Spring 2025 from Late April/Early May to Late May for around 6 weeks.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and calibrate testing equipment.
  • Conduct tests on parts, following procedures established for specified inspection tasks.
  • Evaluate results according to specifications and standards.
  • Assist with various other inspection tasks.
  • Organize and report test results.
  • Adhere to all company quality and safety policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that MEG Energy Safety Procedures are adhered to at all times.

Requirements:

  • Ultrasonic Testing UTI or UTII CGSB Certification.
  • Magnetic Particle Testing MTII CGSB Certification.
  • Liquid Penetrant Testing PTII CGSB Certification.
  • Reside locally to Fort McMurray, AB or willing to relocate. Fly in Fly out relocation terms to be negotiated.
  • Preference for facility, pipeline, and weld inspection (structural and pressure).
  • Possess good analytical skills and be detail oriented.
  • Be able to communicate clearly in writing and verbally (English).
  • Be able to pass a vision and color detection test.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license (minimum class 5) with a clean driving record.
  • Able to work well within a team environment.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Able to work long hours and weekends away from home base.
  • Willingness to travel to Fort McMurray, AB for the project.
