The Consumer Retention Marketing team focuses on driving consumer acquisition, engagement, and retention. Within the broader retention marketing team, the Consumer Promotions Strategy pod blends data-driven insights with strategy to drive business growth through innovative promotions and offers. We are expanding into loyalty offers by integrating Canada’s largest and most adopted loyalty program onto DoorDash.
About the Role
As an Associate Manager, Loyalty Promotions, you will create and launch loyalty offers on DoorDash to drive user engagement and retention. You will manage the day-to-day performance of our loyalty offers, including building targeting, experimentation, and optimization of offers, and deliver our key success metrics for the loyalty program. You will also support the P&L management of the program in terms of impact and financials. You will report to the Sr. Manager of Consumer Promotion Strategy.

- Create loyalty offers that positively influence consumer behavior, and drive user growth and retention.
- Manage day-to-day operations and business metrics for our loyalty program, once live, including tracking earn and burn (redemptions) of loyalty points, measuring incrementality, and new customer acquisition and retention.
- Work with complex data sets to optimize loyalty promotions. Run A/B experiments to glean insights and optimize campaign KPIs, enabling growth in new user acquisition and order rates of existing users.
- Partner with product, analytics, and engineering to experiment with new loyalty offer constructs and introduce innovative concepts.
- Support the P&L management of the program including managing budget and performance impact.
- Lead multiple cross-functional workstreams across internal and external teams including S&O, Product, Engineering, Business Development, Marketing, Analytics, and many more. You will also program manage the partnership to launch and post-launch to ensure we successfully hit key milestones and launch timelines.
We're excited about you because you have…
- A Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of work experience in loyalty marketing, promotions, or retention marketing at a leading consumer (B2C) brand.
- Prior experience in creating and launching loyalty offers and promotions, and driving member engagement and retention.
- Experience digging into large data sets, with the desire & curiosity to dive headfirst into complex problems. You can translate data into applicable insights with ease and communicate recommendations effectively.
- Strong understanding of A/B testing and experience with creating an experimentation roadmap to iterate and optimize a loyalty program.
- Intermediate experience with SQL to query large data sets, proficiency with data visualization and dashboarding tools (e.g., Tableau, Mode).
- Experience keeping projects on track and communicating succinct updates to leadership.
- Enjoy program and partnership management - you are personable with excellent relationship-building skills and thrive working with cross-functional partners to achieve a shared vision.
- Experience developing long-term growth strategies, setting milestones, and executing across multiple teams and stakeholders (both internal & external).
