Faculty Appointment Types: Full Time-Limited Term Sessional Non-NRSL

Job Summary:

The School of Access and Continuing Education department at the College of New Caledonia, Burns Lake campus, is looking for qualified Faculty for the Academic Upgrading Program in January 2025 Semester to the following courses:

1. LAW 050
2. Multi-Level Math – Basic Prep Math (MATH 029), Intermediate Algebraic Math (MATH 030), Trades Math 1 (MATH 041), Trades Math Algebra & Trigonometry (MATH 042), Advanced Developmental Math (MATH 044)
3. Multi-Level English – Fundamental (028), Basic Preparatory (029), Intermediate Prep (030), Advanced Prep (045), Provincial Prep (050)

Skills & Qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in Education, English, or Math.
• A Provincial Instructor Diploma would be considered an asset.
• Three years of teaching experience in relevant fields.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be required.
• Strong empathetic interpersonal, teamwork and leadership skills.
• Teaching or providing training in person in a classroom would be an asset.
• Ability to travel is an asset.
• Knowledge and experience with our northern Indigenous communities would be an asset.

Salary: $73,879 - $87,659 Commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience
