Description

• Knowledge Based Engineering (KBE) - Body in White & Closures responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Specific prior expertise in Body in White and Closures. Exposure to Manufacturing Best practices and guidelines, Feasibility. Competitive benchmarking. Maintain templates / requirements as standards change. Associative parametric modeling. CAD model and template set up. Requirement section development, application, buy off, change process. Highest Level of CAD Skillset, Parametric CAD Modeling Required. Specific expertise in Exterior Trim CAD design required. Creating CAD (Catia/NX) parametric math models for commodities using Knowledge Based Engineering template modeling techniques.

Dictating architecture and construction techniques, creating master development / packaging / requirement sections, defining master template modeling structures, and training other Catia/NX engineers on modeling techniques, architecture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent bachelor’s degree with experience.
• 1-3 Years of CAD modeling with Siemens NX (Must)
• 1-3 Years of Body in White (Automotive) Engineering Experience
• Strong English Speaking skills
• Strong Engineering Design Project Presentation skills required
• 5+ Years of Body in White and/or Closures CAD Engineering experience.
• 5+ Years of CAD Parametric Modeling with Siemens NX
