Our client, a key player in the Internet of Things (IoT) sector in Quebec, is currently seeking an IoT Data Analytics Specialist for its Montreal office.
The ideal candidate will use their expertise to analyze data from over 3 million IoT devices, refine diagnostic algorithms, and proactively resolve issues to ensure exceptional quality and service standards. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product, Sales, Quality Assurance, Production, and Hardware/Embedded Software, you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge solutions that improve performance, strengthen connectivity, and deliver actionable insights.
Main Responsibilities:
Prioritize business outcomes for improvement through advanced analytics.
Analyze data from over 3 million devices to ensure high quality and service standards.
Improve and optimize existing algorithms to optimize performance, resolve issues, and identify trends.
Identify and deploy appropriate analytical approaches and tools, including cloud-based AI.
Continuously refine device diagnostics to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Generate comprehensive reports and visualizations to effectively communicate findings and recommendations.
Work closely with technical support teams to deploy tools and provide training.
Collaborate with the hardware and embedded software departments to align on diagnostics and improvements.
Use AI and machine learning tools to detect issues in the field.
Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to develop and implement data-driven strategies.
Required Knowledge:
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, C#, VBA, or other relevant languages.
Understanding of electronic products, including hardware and embedded software.
A methodical, structured, and organized approach to tasks.
High level of autonomy, initiative, and sense of responsibility. Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
Experience working with large datasets and data visualization tools.
Experience with databases and automation tools for data analysis.
Demonstrated ability to improve and optimize existing algorithms.
Proficiency in AI and machine learning tools and techniques.
