Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Coordinator to support the HR department in a variety of administrative functions. The HR Coordinator will play a key role in maintaining HR records, assisting with basic recruitment, ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws. This role requires a high level of confidentiality, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Lead Plant Programs such as Plant Friendly, Bright Ideas, and High Five, DEI Committees.
- Support our Axiom access procedures.
- Execute a paper file to electronic file system project.
- Assist in preparing reports for internal and external audits or compliance reviews.
- Maintain a positive relationship with employees by addressing concerns and escalating issues when necessary.
- Manage HR-related correspondence, including emails, letters, and memos.
- Help maintain HR files and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Provide support during performance reviews, employee evaluations, and disciplinary processes.
- Assist in organizing employee training sessions, workshops, and events.
- Track employee training and development records and certifications.
- Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job advertisements, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and new employees are properly introduced to the company culture.
Required Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (Competencies):
- Basic computer skills.
- HR Certification.
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- Previous experience in an HR administrative role or similar office environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with HR software – Success Factors is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
- Temporary Full-time position, Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 4:30pm.
- On site role.
- Occasional travel may be required for training or recruitment events (if applicable).
