We are currently seeking a Weekend Shift Shop QA/QC Inspector in our fabrication shop in SE (8700 Venture Ave SE, not transit-accessible).

Accountabilities:
Possess CWB Level 1 Certification
Have 2+ years previous Quality Control experience
Have CSTS-09/2020 ticket or Common Safety Orientation ticket
Have a solid understanding of ASME and CSA codes and practices
Show a proven commitment to Safety
Have the ability to use tools and equipment safely
Commitment to safety and adhering to all safe work practices and procedures
Complete dimension and visual inspections of welded piping and structural steel
Record welders symbols, heat numbers and radiography numbers on drawings and travel sheets
Prepare documentation for, and inspect hydrostatic & pneumatic pressure tests
Install name plates, coordinate inspections with ABSA, NDE Contractors and Client TPI's
Complete Quality Control paperwork
Be able to work in a manufacturing facility with other trades present
Have the ability to perform outside/inside work, sometimes in inclimate weather conditions
Meet the physical demands of the position
Be able to lift up to 60lbs, work at heights, be agile and able to go on/off equipment, up/down ladders
Experience in welding and ASME equipment and piping is an asset
