Job description

Penticton Toyota is an award winning Dealership with the utmost emphasis on customer satisfaction and retention. We are undergoing a full rebuild into a brand new state of the art dealership, and we are looking for motivated and innovative individuals to join our team as a Service Advisor.

The automotive Service Advisor is responsible for guiding the customer through their service, maintenance and repair process from beginning to end on their vehicles.

Full repair order life cycle, from check in, in progress to receiving payment, processing warranty and closing off repair order.

Listen to customers to determine their service needs, interpreting customer stated problems translating to technical instructions for service technicians to carry out the proper work.

Identifying the scope of maintenance required and advising customer on their best course of action.

Following proper warranty policies and procedures as set out by Toyota Canada.

Working with various departments to ensure all work flow happens in a timely and effective manner.

Strong communication skills between multiple locations, and various departments to ensure all work gets done and cars back to their owners in a timely fashion.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$85,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Penticton, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • service advisor: 1 year (preferred)
  • Customer service: 1 year (required)
