Please note that public transit is not available, so you will need your own vehicle for commuting. On-site parking is available.

Starting Date: ASAP

Work hours: Monday - Friday, Start time between 7am – 10am, and ending between 3:30pm – 6:30pm depending on the shift. (8 hour shift with 30 min. meal break + 20 min. paid coffee break) Overtime work as needed. (approx. 5 hrs/week)

Compensation: Starting $19/hr. which goes up to $19.40 after 3-month probation period

Benefits: Group insurance (extended health, dental, vision care, prescription drugs, life insurance) after 3-month probation period

Main Job Duties:

1. Receiving and Shipping Operations
   - Loading and unloading trucks and trailers
   - Picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment
   - Assisting and contacting delivery drivers/company as needed
2. Inventory Management and Order Processing
   - Managing inventory (record keeping and reporting to relevant departments)
   - Counting inventory and reporting shortages
   - Handling Return to Vendor (RTV) processes and communicating with vendors
3. Forklift and Equipment Operation
   - Operating forklifts and pallet jacks to transport products and materials
   - Performing minor maintenance, equipment checks, conducting safety checks and reporting any issues
4. Warehouse Cleaning and Safety Management
   - Cleaning and organizing the warehouse
   - Maintaining a safe working environment by following safety rules
   - Wearing appropriate safety gear and adhering to safety protocols
5. Team Collaboration
   - Coordinating with other departments and team members
   - Proposing improvements for workflow efficiency

Minimum Requirements:

1. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada – No visa support from the employer
2. Forklift experience preferred
3. At least 2-3 years of similar experience
4. Strong communication skills in English
5. Able to lift 30 kg
6. Japanese language an asset
7. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel
8. Willingness to contribute to both production and cleaning responsibilities
9. Own your vehicle or reliable transportation required for commuting (No transit service available)
