Job Summary

We are seeking daytime tutors who are comfortable working with at-risk youth in a youth correctional facility. Tutors will provide academic support based on expertise and knowledge of the Manitoba curriculum across multiple subjects. Responsibilities include offering academic support under the guidance of the Manitoba Youth Justice Education Manager.

A qualified applicant will meet at least one of the following criteria:

1. You hold a registration in good standing with the Manitoba Teacher's Society
2. You are qualified to teach in a Canadian Province/Territory outside of Manitoba
3. You are qualified to teach in the United States
4. You are a current teacher candidate pursuing a Bachelor of Education
5. You have experience as a lecturer/course instructor at an accredited Canadian University or College
