The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to lead and scale our Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams. This executive role will be responsible for driving revenue growth across our training/coaching programs and SaaS platform, optimizing customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.
This is an in-office role based in Brantford, ON, requiring regular attendance at our office. While our company offers hybrid flexibility for certain roles, this position requires an on-site presence most days to support operational needs.
What You’ll Do
- Develop & Execute Revenue Strategy: Own and optimize revenue growth across TME and Membership.io, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Sales & Marketing Leadership: Build and lead a high-performance sales team, optimize lead generation, sales funnels, and pricing strategies, and drive brand awareness.
- Customer Success & Retention: Oversee onboarding, engagement, and upsell strategies to maximize retention and revenue expansion.
- Data-Driven Growth: Track key revenue KPIs (MRR, CAC, CLV, conversion rates), forecast performance, and refine strategies using HubSpot and analytics tools.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success with Finance, Product, and Operations to ensure seamless execution of growth initiatives.
What You Bring
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
- Experience: 10+ years in revenue related roles (e.g., CRO, VP of Sales, VP of Marketing), with a proven track record of scaling revenue in a SaaS and/or coaching/training environment. Strong experience in high-ticket sales, sales team development, and sell-by-chat strategies.
- CRM & Data Proficiency: Expertise in HubSpot CRM (or similar platforms) for pipeline management, marketing automation, and revenue analytics. Skilled in leveraging data-driven insights to optimize performance.
- Leadership & Strategy: Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities, with a track record of scaling high-performing teams. Strong ability to develop and execute strategic growth initiatives that align with company objectives.
- Communication & Influence: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present confidently at all levels. Proven ability to build relationships, negotiate effectively, and influence executive decision-makers.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of membership/subscription-based business models and the coaching/training industry. Familiarity with growth strategies, retention models, and high-ticket sales dynamics.
- Compliance & Security: Must pass a background check to maintain SOC 2 compliance and uphold company security standards.
