Position Summary

The Residence Hall Coordinator plays a key leadership role in fostering a safe, inclusive, and positive environment at camp. You’ll provide oversight to a team of Camp Counsellors, support the supervision and behavior management of players, and help create engaging camp experiences. This overnight position includes weekend work, with meals and accommodations provided.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate Camp Counsellors.
• Provide break coverage for staff.
• Supervise participants aged 10–28.
• Collaborate with the Residence Hall Director to manage camper behavior.
• Develop and facilitate camp programs and activities.
• Provide minor first aid support.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Supervision

• Reports to: Director, Residence (or Director, Client Experience in their absence).
• Provides supervision to: Camp Counsellors and players/campers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working with youth in camp or school settings.
• 1+ years of experience supervising staff.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to think critically and problem-solve in dynamic situations.
• Required Certifications:
• First Aid + CPR C
• Clear Vulnerable Sector Check
• Preferred: National Lifeguarding Certification
