As a Senior Full Stack Application Developer, you'll be at the forefront of developing scalable and efficient solutions that drive our mission forward. You'll have the exciting opportunity to collaborate with diverse, cross-functional teams, including product owners and software developers, to deeply understand business requirements and transform them into impactful technical solutions.

As a Senior Software Developer at Nasdaq Verafin, you'll have the unique chance to positively impact the world while doing what you love – solving complex problems with the power of code.
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with your team to drive the successful delivery of project requirements.
- Develop innovative user interfaces, robust backend services, and comprehensive data models, propelling the next generation of our services.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure high availability and reliability of applications.
- Work with application teams on case management and regulatory reporting.
- Continuously enhance the product by developing new features, fixing bugs, and optimizing performance to deliver the best possible user experience.
- Help to develop new features, including new Copilot features with machine learning models.
- Actively learn from experienced team members and leverage mentoring to enhance your skills.
What We're Looking For:
- A university degree or college diploma in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of Software Development experience.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as API Gateway, ECS, Lambda, Fargate, etc.
- Knowledge of microservice architecture and experience building scalable, highly available systems.
- Deep understanding of encryption and message signing using industry-standard practices.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles.
- Experience with API documentation tools and standards.
- Experience using Terraform.
- Fundamental knowledge of software and system design principles.
- Strong analytical skills and creativity to solve complex problems.
- Experience in object-oriented software development.
- Experience with automated testing.
- Willingness to ask for help, learn from, and mentor others.
- Top-notch interpersonal and organizational skills making teamwork a positive experience.
Would be good to have experience in a few of the following areas:
- Experience using Java, Javascript, CSS, and React.
- Experience with modern web development frameworks.
- Core Banking Systems.
- Amazon Web Services.
- Intelligent systems, artificial intelligence, and data science.
- Distributed computing.
- Database technologies (PostgresSQL).
- Big data technologies.
- Data extraction, transformation/cleansing, and integration.
