Position Summary

The IT Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of Citron Hygiene's technology environment. Primarily responsible for managing the company's IT Help Desk, this role focuses on delivering exceptional support to ensure that all employees' IT needs are promptly addressed. Armed with extensive IT expertise, the IT Manager will provide hands-on leadership to maintain a productive, efficient, and user-focused IT environment.

In addition to overseeing the IT Help Desk, the IT Manager is responsible for managing and maintaining the IT infrastructure across all business units in North America. This includes ensuring systems are secure, scalable, and aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving innovation and efficiency across all facets of IT.

Duties and Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the VP, Global IT and Master Data, the duties and responsibilities of the IT Manager include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Management of the IT Department, including overseeing employee relations, conducting performance reviews, and handling disciplinary actions;
  • Manage and maintain critical IT systems and security programs, including Office 365, MS Defender, Active Directory, Entra ID, Mimecast, CrowdStrike, and Intune, overseeing policies, configurations, secure user access, threat protection, and seamless device and identity management;
  • Responsible for managing Microsoft Azure and coordinating with the service provider to ensure effective operations and maintenance of the cloud environment;
  • Manage incident response efforts, swiftly addressing and mitigating cyber threats to protect the IT environment;
  • Responsible for software license management, ensuring compliance, and optimizing usage;
  • Manage contracted IT services and oversee relationships with IT vendors to ensure effective service delivery;
  • Setup, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot all endpoints across the organization;
  • Ensure timely resolution of all employee IT requests;
  • Manage telephony and website infrastructure to ensure seamless communication and online presence;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Systems or equivalent;
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience working in an IT support environment;
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience managing and/or supervising a team;
  • A+ Certification or equivalent IT certifications are required;
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, hardware, software, cybersecurity, and cloud services (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Office 365);
  • Excellent understanding of IT best practices;
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to quickly resolve IT issues under pressure;
  • Frequent interaction with various teams and departments, requiring effective communication and collaboration;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions

  • Work is performed in a fast-paced office environment with demands for multitasking and rapid problem resolution;
  • Works during standard business hours, with occasional evening, weekend, or after-hours work as needed;
  • Requires extended periods of focused work, demanding attention to detail and a high level of accuracy;
  • May require travel between office locations as needed for system installations or maintenance.
