What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

1. Develop Python code and French prose prompts for Large Language Models (LLMs) to enhance CoCounsel's functionality
2. Collaborate with legal professionals to gather and understand requirements for application development
3. Integrate LLMs into multi-step systems, assessing their performance and making necessary improvements
4. Write, test, and iterate French prose prompts to ensure legally sound and contextually appropriate responses
5. Interface with APIs and SQL databases to support application development

What is Required (Qualifications):

1. Highly proficient in written and spoken French
2. Legal domain expertise, including experience in legal practice or a JD-holder
3. 1-2 years of production-level experience in software engineering on an engineering/product team
4. Proficiency in Python or strong experience in other programming languages
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

1. Experience using large language models through code, such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-source models like Llama and Mistral
2. Strong experience with APIs and SQL
