NATIONWIDE SEARCH: LIVE-IN NANNY/HOUSEHOLD MANAGER NEEDED IN NEEDHAM, MA

Overview

NEEDHAM, MA (NATIONWIDE SEARCH) – An incredible family is on the hunt for a warm, fun-loving LIVE-IN NANNY/HOUSEHOLD MANAGER to join their bustling household and help care for their three amazing girls (ages 3, 5, and 6)! Their little crew is big-hearted, sweet, loving and sometimes sassy!

The schedule is a split shift, typically from 7:30-8:30 AM and 1:30-6 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional date nights and weekends as needed (35 hours per week are guaranteed). Your mornings will involve helping the girls wake up, get dressed, eat breakfast, and head off to school. Afternoons will be a mix of school pickups, chauffeuring to activities (family car provided), meal prep, and of course, PLAY! Additional duties include making lunches, tidying up after the kiddos, laundry, and generally being an all-around household hero alongside their stay-at-home mom.

As a live-in nanny, you'll have your own private bedroom and bathroom. The family has a mini Goldendoodle, so being a dog lover is a must. They also love to travel—both domestically and internationally—and would love for you to join the adventure. Their travels usually take place during school breaks, with summers often spent soaking up the sun on Cape Cod. Trips are generally no more than two weeks in duration.

They’re looking for a fun, hyper organized, go-with-the-flow nanny who can be silly with the kids but also keep things on track. Must be a strong swimmer and comfortable getting in the water with the kids. Candidates must have a clean driving record. A plus if you enjoy cooking or baking!

Benefits include paid sick days, vacation, and negotiable paid holidays. Nanny vehicle is available for personal use during "off" hours. Relocation assistance is provided. Pay is $25-30/hour depending on experience, paid via payroll. Ideal start dates are either early June or September.

Qualifications

1. BA/BS college degree | AA in related field of study
2. CPR/First Aid Certification (renew as needed)
3. Ability to make a one-year commitment unless applying for a temporary position
4. A passion for working with children
5. Two+ years childcare experience
6. Excellent work and personal references
7. U.S. driver's license (this does not apply to NYC residents)
8. Complete Stop the Silence Training upon Membership
9. Fluent in English/Bilingual a plus
10. Competent swimmer
11. Non-smoker
12. Willing to go through extensive Background Check
13. Must be Live-Scanned and registered with Trustline if CA resident
14. Willingness to show proof of immunizations
15. No-cell phone driving signed guarantee
16. Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
