RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Sales Consultant at Lilly, you will improve the customer experience through your ability to identify critical needs and deliver optimal pharmaceutical solutions to our customers. You will learn more about our health care system, disease, our product line and the various treatment options. You will build relationships with clients, including family physicians, medical specialists and other health professionals. You will leverage your Lilly network and resources to respond promptly and appropriately to customer questions, while identifying and delivering multi-channel solutions that best suit your customers. You will analyze and interpret territorial data and trends, as well as develop and implement a detailed territorial plan for your product line.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Lilly Canada is looking for a motivated and entrepreneurial person that loves to learn. The ideal candidate has experience selling diabetes medication to physicians and other health care professionals. The candidate has proven results in previous roles through fostering an outstanding customer experience, as well as displaying a highly collaborative team spirit and strong leadership skills. The candidate has accrued experience through training based on an interactive model focused on client needs and has a proven ability to learn quickly. They must also be proficient in the use of an iPad tablet as part of their day-to-day work.

ADDITIONAL ASSETS AND SKILLS

  • Good team player, organizational and leadership skills
  • At a minimum, 3 to 5 years of experience in the field of pharmaceutical sales
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers
  • Agile in the dynamic interaction environment (face-to-face and virtual)
  • Demonstrated value-based interactions and omni-channel engagement capabilities
  • Proficiency with computers and data manipulation and analysis
  • Experience in hospital sales
  • Recent recognition for leadership, teamwork, customer service and performance
  • Experience in product launch as well as knowledge of the following therapeutic areas would be a strong asset: diabetes and obesity
