User Experience (UX) Designer II

Our client, a large financial institution, is looking for a User Experience (UX) Designer II to fill a 12-month contract located in Toronto. This is an excellent opportunity for a User Experience (UX) Designer II with a financial services background.

As an User Experience (UX) Designer II your duties will include but not be limited to:

1. Directly involved in the creation of complicated, interesting interactive experiences.

2. Participating in design review sessions with project teams to reach agreement and approval on designs and documentation.

3. Discussing the newest technologies and ideas for effective and aesthetically pleasing web design with other UI designers on a regular basis.

Qualifications required for the User Experience (UX) Designer II position include:

1. Bachelor's degree in design or related field.
2. Minimum 5 years’ experience working as a UI/web designer, on a range of different types of projects.
3. Minimum 3 years experience working on complex web projects with medium to large-sized teams.
4. Excellent skills in designing for different screen breakpoints (responsive & adaptive).
5. Strong design portfolio.
