In this pivotal leadership role, the Managed Services Team Lead/Manager will oversee a dynamic group of IT professionals, ensuring the seamless delivery of managed services while upholding high service standards. They’ll also play a vital role in cultivating a collaborative, supportive, and growth-focused team culture.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Guide and mentor the managed services team, building core competencies and ensuring team cohesion.
- Service Delivery: Oversee managed IT services to clients, quality standards, and best practices.
- Client Engagement: Serve as the primary contact for escalated client issues, ensuring timely resolution and client satisfaction.
- Operational Excellence: Implement efficient processes and best-in-class tools to enhance service delivery.
- Performance and Improvement: Monitor team performance metrics, foster cross-department collaboration, and drive continuous improvement.
- Technical Expertise: Maintain in-depth knowledge of service offerings and provide technical guidance to support the team.
Education:
- Bachelor of Science — Computer Science (or relevant education/experience)
Qualifications:
- Clean criminal background
Experience:
- 5+ years in a leadership role, ideally in a related industry
- Demonstrated experience in technical support or client-facing technical roles
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Cloud Programs (Intune, Identity, Azure)
Skills:
- Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring a team, including building team competencies and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Confidence in implementing and refining operational processes, with experience in adopting tools to streamline managed services and increase efficiency.
- Strong collaborative skills, with experience working closely with sales, engineering, and other teams to align services with business goals and client needs.
- The ability to understand and genuinely connect with team members’ and clients’ perspectives, fostering trust and effective communication.
Base Salary: $110,000-$130,000 per year

- Continuing education offered on company time, with an allocation of 4 hours per week of professional development time.
Work Hours:
- 40 hours per week
- Monday-Friday
Remote Work:
- This position is hybrid and allows for 2 days a week work from home (Mondays and Fridays) with Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday as required in-office days.

- This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
